Hi ho, hi ho

Hey there,
I’ve started to write a blog a few times, but I never seem to have enough time. I had two papers due last week, a test, a quiz, and readings. This week I had another paper due and more quizzes and readings. It’s just been annoyingly busy week and half/two weeks. But now I finally have a bit of time. Although I should be typing up notes for my class tonight or reading for a quiz tomorrow. What’s up with all the work, hm? I’m over this semester all ready.

Also, whats up with this freezing weather and snow all over the south?!? I thought I lived in Florida for a reason! Bleh. (Hence my picture from Indiana. That’s where its supposed to be cold and snow. They expect it. We don’t. )

Today I cleaned and did laundry. Sometimes it’s just so nice to feel like I’ve actually accomplished something. And even a bit of cleaning makes me feel like I have something to show for today… maybe that’s depressing. ;D

My good friend heather (who is probably the only one reading this blog… so this is silly) left for Korea yesterday. I’m so excited for her to start her job teaching English there. It would be an amazing experience and if I can ever make some money maybe I can go see her. (Hey Heather, I’m waiting for your blog!)

I went to talk to my advisor on Monday and she told me I only need 7 more classes to graduate. :D Unfortunately without taking summer classes, which I really don’t want to, I’ll still be here two more semesters. Which puts me graduating next spring. I don’t think it can come soon enough. Unfortunately I have no idea what I’m going to do after I graduate. So graduating won’t be that exciting when I have no ideas for jobs or what I want to do with my life. Maybe I’ll go work at Disney for a while and make some money. Who knows…

Kayla and I went to a reproductive rights debate last night. I have to go to three women related things this semester and write about them for one of my classes. This one was pretty interesting but I always forget that people are VERY opinionated about reproductive rights. And sometimes that just makes me want to strangle someone.

I’m all for having your opinions but when its time to move on to a new question LET IT GO. It was informative, although most of it I already knew… The one lady was from a women’s pregnancy crisis center and she had a box full of tiny models of babies (the size they would be at around 7 weeks I believe. When most women have abortions). They were the creepiest things ever. She was like, and I think I have enough for everyone here. Like we were supposed to take one. I really wanted to. I told Kayla that’s what our apartment was missing, a tiny peanut sized model of an alien-like baby. I wanted to take a few extra so I could give them away as freaky presents or something.

I really should start taking more pictures. I look at photographers blogs and they document so much of their lives, their kids and everything. It makes me feel incredibly lazy. (which I am, don’t get me wrong). But I feel like I really should do something! I need to take more pictures. Hopefully I can get better at that.

Well, I’d better stop writing now. I’ve got stuff to do. A Baby Storys to watch…
